Description
When I first saw a photo of this emu, I had to smile and knew I wanted to paint him. He was looking into a car window when Tina Ballard Russell took a picture which I used as a reference photo. I think it would be a little bit scary having this large bird so close. They are really such strange and silly looking animals. This was painted on the computer using a texture to enhance the image.
